Advanced Search Function Options: fast and accurate

We have several levels of search available for you to use, each with its own unique attributes. We can install a keyword search (where you give us the results you want), we can offer a full text search, or we can offer a TX5 search (which understands synonyms and context). The way the results are displayed can also be changed to suit your needs.

When it comes to guiding your viewers through your EasyFlip book, we have several options for you to choose from:

Logo replaces search function:- In some instances, you may wish to remove the search field completely and replace it with your company logo. This is usually the case on corporate brochures and books with more multimedia than text.

Complete text search:- As the name suggests, this option scans the entire book for the word you have asked for. While this is great for searching through articles in e-zines, it can return huge amounts of unwanted results in large catalogues.

Selective text search:- In order to avoid the problem of far too many results being returned (e.g. searching for 'desk' brings up 'desktop, desk tidy, desk drawers, helpdesk etc etc), some of our clients prefer to stipulate their own results for a given enquiry. In some cases, they want to direct their viewers to a specific item or section if they search on a particular word.

TX5 search:- We tend to recommend this search type for books with lots of articles and text sections. TX5 has the ability to take a search word and return not only results for that word, but also other results it feels are relevant. For example, if you search for 'care', TX5 will also return instances of the word 'love'.
