Variable zoom
If you are finding that the book is zooming in too much, or not enough, then you can use the plus and minus symbols to move in and out. The page only needs to be focussed once regardless of how many times you need to zoom in or out. We also have dedicated buttons to zoom all the way in, or all the way out.

Quick-focus
EasyFlip books are the fastest loading and operating books on the market (like-for-like on same server). When a page is turned, you see a low resolution version of the page and it immediately starts to focus and sharpen. However, at this size, the human eye has trouble noticing that the page is not high res, and so the user simply scans the pages looking for what they would like to zoom in on. In the worst case scenario, the user zooms in before focussing has been completed, but normally at least 50% of this task has been completed and the focussing is fast. In the best case scenario, by the time the user scans the full page and clicks to zoom in, the focussing is complete, and the images and text are nice and sharp.
Traditionally, and in the case of most other e-books, the pages are high res from the outset, and then need to load again when being zoomed. High res main pages have a negative impact on the general speed of the page turning in the book.  Some books also show a loading screen if they are flipped too quickly, and have trouble keeping pace if you need to jump into the book from the contents page.
